Barcelona has agreed a fee of £55 million with English club Leeds United for the transfer of Brazilian winger Raphinha.
The deal, which could be worth up to £65 million in add-ons, is still subject to the player passing his medicals today before signing a five-year contract with the Catalans.
“We can confirm that an agreement in principle has been reached with FC Barcelona for the transfer of Raphinha.”, Leeds United said in a statement on their website.
“The player will now undergo a medical in Spain.”
Chelsea’s pursuit of the forward, who is also wanted by Arsenal, has come to an end as a result of the transfer. Leeds accepted the Blues’ £60 million offer two weeks ago, but the player held out until the offer from his boyhood club arrived from Spain.
