As of 7 a.m. on July 4, the nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) total had reached 10,487,972.
This is contained in the quarter four, week 12 update, which was released on Wednesday in Abuja.
On June 28, 2021, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) began new voter registration.
According to INEC, 9,455,198 Nigerians have completed their registrations.
3,314,169 people registered online, while 6,141,029 registered in person.
The gender breakdown is as follows: 4,682,036 men, 4,773,162 women, and 71,998 people with disabilities (PWDs)
In addition, 6,698,446 are under the age of 18; 1,894,39 are between the ages of 18 and 34.
There are 758,300 people aged 50 to 69, and 104,056 people aged 70 and up.
In total, the commission has received 25,056,633 applications.
This includes, among other things, voter transfers, requests for replacement Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), and information updates.
