Portuguese professional manager and current head coach of Serie A club, AS Roma, Jose Mourinho has once again signed Nemanja Matic, making it the third time the “Special One” will sign the Serbian in three different clubs.
Matic, 33, who currently exited Manchester United on a free transfer, has once again reunited with Mourinho at Roma.
Mourinho first signed Matic from Benfica to Chelsea in 2014 when he managed the English team, and later signed the Serbian midfielder from Chelsea to Manchester United in 2017 when he joined the Red Devils.
Mourinho has now resigned the defensive midfielder to Roma where he is the current head coach.
The “Special One” as some call him, is one of the most vocal and charismatic football managers in the world today and does not exactly hide his bias towards players.
Mourinho’s Roma recently won the inaugural edition of the Conference League, making the manager the first manager in history to ever win the tournament.
Matic is currently signed to Roma on a one-year deal.
