Nigerians are currently dragging Prophet Ezenwa George Ritabbi, founder and Senior Pastor of Christ As of Old Ministry who prophesied that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike which has lingered since February 14th, 2022 will be called off on June 17th.
The prophet who made the ‘prophecy’ around May 30, 2022, claimed that the ASUU strike, which had lasted over three months at the time of his declaration, would be called off by the Union.
Ratabbi, in a viral video that trended late last month, claimed he was a prophet and served a “God that breaks protocol”.
“ASUU purposely went on strike for an election so that students would not have work to do and what to say, Yes! But for the sake of my daughter, who is a scientist, that is a lecturer. I serve a God that break protocol, and I am a prophet. Listen to me, by this 17 of June, ASUU is calling off the strike,” Ratabbi declared in the video.
At the time of this writing, “17th of June” was trending on Twitter, with over twenty-one thousand (21,000) tweets, with many young people, mostly undergraduates determined to “drag” Prophet Ezenwa George Ritabbi over what many refer to as “his failed prophecy”.
The federal government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have locked horns over the recent strike since February 14th, 2022 with no solution in sight.
The federal government, on Wednesday, claimed that the lingering tussle between it and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is complex and not as easy as Nigerians think.
