Glasgow Rangers and Nigerian midfielder Joe Aribo have reached an agreement on a fee that would see him move to Southampton this summer.
According to The Athletic, the Saints will pay an initial fee of £6 million for the 25-year-old.
With add-ons, the fee could reach £10 million.
Aribo’s contract includes a £10 million release clause, and Rangers were determined not to sell him for less.
According to reports, the player has agreed personal terms with Southampton but has yet to sign a contract with the Premier League club.
Aribo had nine goals and nine assists in 57 appearances for the Gers across all competitions last season.
In 2019, he signed a four-year contract with Rangers after joining from Charlton Athletic.
Southampton and Rangers have agreed on a fee for Aribo.
