Deco, Raphinha’s agent, has threatened Barcelona, giving the Catalan club 48 hours to agree a deal with Leeds United or reenter talks with Chelsea.
Raphinha wishes to join Barcelona this summer, despite strong interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, their London rivals.
Chelsea appeared to be the frontrunners to sign the Brazil international after reaching an agreement with Leeds, but the player himself prefers to move to Spain.
Barcelona made a new bid for the 25-year-old last week, thought to be around £47 million, which fell short of Leeds’ asking price and Chelsea’s most recent bid.
Deco, who played for both Chelsea and Barcelona, is now frustrated with the situation and wants an agreement by the beginning of this week.
Raphinha, on the other hand, has been left out of Leeds’ pre-season tour.
