The nominees for the 2022 Men’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year has been released but with some surprising development as Tottenham star, Son Heung-min’s name is missing on the list.
Players who made the list include Son’s fellow teammate, Harry Kane; Kevin De Bruyne, Sadio Mané, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohammed Salah, and Virgil Van Dijk.
Son has been prolific in the past season, scoring 23 goals and sharing the Golden Boot award with Mohammed Salah in the Premier League who also scored 23 goals.
Fans of the Premier League have been reacting on Twitter that the exclusion of Son from the list rubbishes his performance and achievements the past season.
