Senator Dino Melaye, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a ‘baby weight’ compared to Atiku.
Dino Melaye on POLITICS TODAY on Channels TV claimed Tinubu is a baby weight ‘in all ramifications’, which includes “politically, mentally, medically, even socially”.
The former senator claimed Tinubu is not on the same page with Atiku, politically.
When asked if Atiku’s camp was worried about the candidacy of Tinubu, Melaye responded:
“Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar, in terms of popularity, they are not on the same page.”, the former Kogi senator responded.
Dino Melaye also claimed Atiku is more qualified than Tinubu as he is more experienced, healthier and mentally fit to be Nigeria’s next president.
Senator Melaye also claimed Atiku possess the “political manpower” and has the “political edge” over Tinubu.
