Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu has claimed that there is nothing wrong with a Muslim-Muslim ticket should Tinubu opt for a Muslim Northerner as his running mate, stating that his pastor wife will be the de facto vice president and even the scale.
Kalu, who made this know while answering questions from journalists at the Senate claimed that it would be a political miscalculation for Tinubu, a minority Muslim from the Southwestern region of the country to field a minority Christian from the Northern part of the country as his vice.
The senator insisted that Tinubu’s wife who is a senior pastor with the largest Pentecostal church in Nigeria, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), will act as the de facto vice president and even the scale should the former Lagos State president win the 2023 presidential election.
Kalu stated that the APC should not expect to miscalculate by fielding two minorities and expect to win the 2023 presidential election.
